Anna K. Seidel works as an artist at the interface of theater, visual arts and film. After studying architecture and working as a stage designer, she studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg Schule in Munich.
Her first acting engagements took her to the Münchner Kammerspiele, the Thalia Theater Hamburg and in film and exhibition contexts. From 2022 to 2024 she was a permanent member of the collective ensemble at Theaterhaus Jena. During this time, she was invited to the 61st Theatertreffen with the piece Die Hundekotattacke, which earned her the 3sat Prize and recognition for Best Young Authorship and Production of the Year. Independently of this, she also worked as a freelance actress, including her solo-performance Ultralenz at Volksbühne Berlin.
Recently, Seidel has expanded her artistic activities to experimental film making. Also, she loves painting and taking pictures.
